検索はオフラインで。 Download the dictionary once, then search offline.

辞書データは端末に保存し、検索も端末の中で処理します。1 文字入力するたびに結果が出るインクリメンタルサーチ。英語も日本語も同じ検索窓で引けて、見出し語に加えて、例辞郎の例文を英語でも日本語でも全文検索できます。

The dictionary data is stored on your device, and searches run on the device. Incremental search shows results with every keystroke. English and Japanese go in the same search box, and besides headwords you can search the full text of Reijiro's example sentences in English or Japanese.

  • 通信が要るのは、購入、辞書のダウンロード、Google ドライブへのバックアップ、カメラで引くの文字認識のデータの入手のときです。
  • ブックマークと履歴も端末の中。ブックマークは Google ドライブにバックアップできます。
  • A connection is needed only to purchase, to download the dictionary, to back up to Google Drive, and to get the text recognition data for Look up with camera.
  • Bookmarks and history stay on your device, and bookmarks can be backed up to Google Drive.

文章まるごと引きLook up whole text

英文をまるごと貼れば、
成句も単語も、まとめて引ける。 Paste a whole English text. Look up its phrases and words at once.

下のタブの 4 番目「文章まるごと引き」に英文を貼り付けて「引く」。辞書にある成句にマーカーが付きます。マーカーの語句も、ほかの単語も、タップすると画面の下に辞書の行が出て、行をタップすれば詳細画面が開きます。

Paste English text into Look up whole text, the fourth tab at the bottom, and tap Look up. Phrases found in the dictionary get markers. Tap a marked phrase or any other word to show its dictionary rows at the bottom of the screen, and tap a row to open the Detail screen.

  • 過去形などの活用形は原形の見出しを、代名詞は one's や someone に置き換えた成句の見出しを探します。
  • ほかのアプリで文章を選び、共有メニューの「文章まるごと引き」から渡すこともできます。
  • 英文は直接打ち込んでも、「撮影」「画像」で写真から読み取ってもかまいません。
  • 解析するのは英語の部分だけ。1 回に先頭 1 万文字まで引きます。
  • Inflected forms such as the past tense are matched to base-form headwords, and phrases with pronouns are matched to headwords written with one's or someone.
  • You can also select text in another app and send it with "Look up whole text" in the share menu.
  • Type the text directly, or read it from a photo with Camera or Image.
  • Only the English parts are analyzed, up to the first 10,000 characters at a time.

その言い回し、
例辞郎の例文にある？3 語以上の並びで確かめる。 Does that expression appear in Reijiro's example sentences?Check runs of 3 or more words.

文章まるごと引きの右上にある「実例チェック」を押すと、例辞郎の例文に 3 語以上続けて出てくる言い回しにマーカーが付きます。オレンジの字は、3 語以上続く実例が見つからない箇所です。タップすると、その言い回しを含む例文と件数が出ます。「辞書引き」で元の表示に戻ります。

Tap Check examples at the top right of Look up whole text. Expressions that appear in Reijiro's example sentences as 3 or more words in a row are marked, and words in orange are where no such example was found. Tap to see the example sentences containing the expression, with their count. Look up words takes you back.

正誤の判定ではありません。示すのは、例辞郎の例文にそのまま出てくるかどうかです。オレンジの字は、実例が見つからなかったという印です。

It does not judge right or wrong. It shows whether an expression appears word for word in Reijiro's examples. Orange only means no example was found.

  • 例辞郎の全文検索が入った辞書（Ver.149 以降と体験版）で使えます。
  • 体験版の例辞郎は約 3 万件の例文だけなので、製品版より実例が見つかりにくくなります。
  • Available with dictionaries that include Reijiro full-text search (Ver.149 and later, and the trial).

04覚えるReview

学習モードReview (study mode)

ブックマークと履歴の語を、
間隔をあけて復習。 Review words from your bookmarks and history at growing intervals.

ブックマークか履歴の右上のメニューから「復習する」。単語カードのように見出しを見て意味を思い出し、「答えを見る」で訳を確かめてから「覚えた」か「まだ」を押します。「まだ」の語は、その回の最後にもう一度出ます。

Choose Review from the top-right menu of Bookmarks or History. As with a flashcard, look at the headword and recall its meaning, tap Show answer to check, then tap Got it or Not yet. Words marked Not yet come back at the end of the session.

「覚えた」を押すたびに、次に出るまでの日数が延びますEach Got it lengthens the wait before the word comes back

  • Up to 20 words a day, of which at most 10 are new.
  • Ages refer to native speakers; the labels appear in Japanese in the app. Whole example sentences in your history are left out. Level is not shown for dictionaries without corpus ranks.
  • Study records are stored only on your device.

撮って引く。文字の読み取りは、端末の中で。 Photograph English text and look it up.The text is read on your device.

文章まるごと引きの「撮影」「画像」か、検索タブの右上のメニュー「カメラで引く」から。端末のカメラアプリで撮るか、Android の写真の選択画面で画像を選ぶと、英文を読み取って、そのまま文章まるごと引きで引きます。読み違いは「編集」で直せます。

Use Camera or Image in Look up whole text, or Look up with camera in the top-right menu of the Search tab. Take a photo with your device's camera app or choose an image with Android's photo picker, and the English text is read and looked up in Look up whole text. Fix any misreads with Edit.

  • 読み取りは Google Play 開発者サービスの文字認識（ML Kit）で、端末の中で行います。写真・画像と読み取った文字は外部へ送りません。
  • 撮影は端末のカメラアプリ、画像は Android の写真の選択画面を使うので、カメラや写真へのアクセスの権限は求めません。
  • Google Play 開発者サービスが必要です。初回は、文字認識のデータを入手するためにインターネット接続が要ります。読み取るのはラテン文字の英文です。
  • ML Kit は、内容を含まない利用の統計を Google へ送ります。詳しくはプライバシーポリシーの 5 をご覧ください。
  • Text is recognized on your device by ML Kit text recognition in Google Play services. Photos, images and recognized text are not sent anywhere.
  • Photos are taken with your camera app and images are chosen with Android's photo picker, so the app asks for no camera or photo permissions.
  • Requires Google Play services. The first time, an internet connection is needed to get the text recognition data. English text in Latin script is recognized.
  • ML Kit sends usage statistics, without the content, to Google. See section 5 of the Privacy Policy.

そのほか 6.1.0 では、設定 ＞ アプリについて にプライバシーポリシーを加え（初回起動の利用規約の画面からも開けます）、アプリの利用規約の文面をこのページのものに揃えました。お問い合わせのメールや Google ドライブのサインアウトなどの不具合も直しています。

Also in 6.1.0: the Privacy Policy is now in Settings > About Eijiroid (and linked from the Terms screen at first launch), the app's Terms of Service text now matches the one on this page, and bugs were fixed (inquiry email, Google Drive sign-out, etc.).

検索した語は、
端末の外に送りません。 No ads. The words you search are not sent off your device.

  • 検索した語・履歴・ブックマーク・学習の記録は、端末の中にだけ保存します。ブックマークは、バックアップしたときだけ、ご自身の Google ドライブにも保存されます。 Searched words, history, bookmarks and study records are stored only on your device. Bookmarks are also saved to your own Google Drive, only when you back them up.
  • カメラで引くの写真・画像・読み取った文字も、外部へ送りません。 Photos, images and text read by Look up with camera are not sent anywhere either.
  • 通信するのは、辞書の購入（購入済みかの確認を含む）とダウンロード、Google ドライブへのバックアップ（使うときだけ）、カメラで引くの文字認識のデータの入手と利用統計の送信のときです。 The app goes online only to buy the dictionary (including checking your purchase) and download it, to back up with Google Drive (when you use it), and for Look up with camera's recognition data and usage statistics.

You can buy the full dictionary data in the app.

Q購入した辞書データは、新しい版に無料で更新されますか？Is purchased dictionary data updated for free?

いいえ。EDP との辞書データ使用許諾契約により、購入後の辞書データの無償バージョンアップは行いません。新しい辞書データが公開されたら、アプリの中で「Upgrade」を購入してください。アプリが新しい版に対応すると、古い版の辞書データはアプリから購入できなくなります。

No. Under the dictionary data license agreement with EDP, purchased dictionary data is not updated for free. When newer data is released, buy the "Upgrade" in the app. Once the app supports the newer data, older dictionary data can no longer be purchased from the app.

Qダウンロードの回数に制限はありますか？Is there a download limit?

購入後 3 年間、または 10 回までダウンロードできます。それ以上必要な場合は、辞書データのアップグレードを購入してください。辞書データは約 1.26 GB と大きいため、Wi-Fi でのダウンロードをおすすめします。途中で接続が切れても、自動で繋ぎ直して続きから再開します。

You can download the dictionary data for 3 years or up to 10 times after purchase. If you need more, please purchase a dictionary data upgrade. The download is large (about 1.26 GB), so Wi-Fi is recommended. If the connection drops, the download reconnects automatically and resumes where it stopped.

Qインターネットに繋がっていなくても使えますか？Can I use it without an internet connection?

辞書のダウンロードが済めば、検索はオフラインでできます。文章まるごと引きと実例チェックも、端末の中の辞書で動きます。通信が要るのは、購入、辞書のダウンロード、Google ドライブへのバックアップ、カメラで引くの文字認識のデータの入手（初回）のときです。

Yes. Once the dictionary is downloaded, searches work offline, and Look up whole text and Check examples also run on the dictionary on your device. A connection is needed to purchase, to download the dictionary, to back up to Google Drive, and the first time Look up with camera gets its text recognition data.

Q実例チェックでオレンジになった箇所は、間違いですか？Are words shown in orange by Check examples mistakes?

そうとは限りません。オレンジの字は、例辞郎の例文に 3 語以上続けて出てくる実例が見つからなかった箇所です。文法の正誤を判定するものではないので、言い回しを考えるときの手がかりとしてお使いください。

Not necessarily. Orange marks places where no example of 3 or more words in a row was found in Reijiro. It does not judge grammar; use it as a hint when choosing expressions.

Qカメラで撮った写真は、どこかへ送られますか？Are my photos sent anywhere?

送りません。文字の読み取りは端末の中で行い、写真・画像と読み取った文字は外部へ送りません。ただし、文字認識（ML Kit）は、内容を含まない利用の統計を Google へ送ります。詳しくはプライバシーポリシーをご覧ください。

No. Text is read on your device, and photos, images and recognized text are not sent anywhere. ML Kit text recognition does send usage statistics, without the content, to Google. See the Privacy Policy for details.

    3. ユーザが当該データを利用することによって生じる直接的または間接的な損害、損失、不利益、精神的苦痛などに対して、本製品提供もとであるEijiroidおよび辞書データ提供もとであるEDPは一切の責任を負いません。辞書データはご自身の責任においてのみご利用ください。

    4. 辞書データの提供もとであるEDPとの辞書データ使用許諾契約により、購入後の辞書データに対する無償バージョンアップは行いません。EDPより最新の辞書データが公開された場合、最新の辞書データが購入できるように本製品のバージョンアップが行われます。本製品のバージョンアップで古い辞書データの購入は本製品からできなくなります。

    5. 本製品のサポートはすべてEijiroidが行います。辞書データも含めてEDPへのお問い合わせはご遠慮ください。

    6. EDPが制作した辞書データの著作権は、EDPに帰属します。EDPから事前に許諾を得ることなく、データを第三者にコピー・配布・転載すること、データを商品に含めること、データをマルチユーザで利用できるシステムを構築することは禁止されています。

    7. EDP の目標は、人間が使用する様々な言葉・表現をバイリンガル形式で電子化することです。そのため、悪い言葉、下品な言葉、差別語、卑猥な言葉、過激な表現、現代の社会通念に照らして必ずしも適切と言い難い表現なども含まれておりますので、ご使用になる場合はあらかじめご了承下さい。なお、EDPには、そのような表現を積極的に使用したり、使用を助長したりする意図はございません。

    8. ユーザはこの利用規約を全て許諾した場合のみ、自己が使用するAndroid端末において本製品の利用が可能です。いかなる方法においても第三者への配布は禁止されています。

    9. Eijiroidおよび辞書データのダウンロードに掛かる通信費はお客様負担です。Eijiroidは通信費による一切の責任を負いません。

    10. 辞書データは購入後から3年間または10回までリモートサーバからダウンロードが可能です。本制限以上で必要な場合は、辞書データのアップグレードを購入下さい。

    1. The use of the included dictionary data is permitted only on this product. It is prohibited to illegally extract dictionary data from the Android device (including external storage) or use it on other devices.

    2. Eijiroid and EDP (provider of dictionary data) do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, usefulness, eligibility, currency, or any results that may occur from using the dictionary data. We do not provide any support regarding the content of the dictionary data.

    3. Eijiroid and EDP shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, disadvantages, mental distress, etc. caused by the user's use of said data. Please use the dictionary data at your own risk.

    4. According to the dictionary data license agreement with EDP, we do not provide free version updates for purchased dictionary data. When the latest dictionary data is released by EDP, this product will be updated so that the latest dictionary data can be purchased. With the version update of this product, the purchase of old dictionary data will no longer be possible from this product.

    5. All support for this product is provided by Eijiroid. Please refrain from contacting EDP, including regarding dictionary data.

    6. The copyright of the dictionary data produced by EDP belongs to EDP. It is prohibited to copy, distribute, or reprint data to a third party, include data in products, or build a system where data can be used by multiple users without obtaining prior permission from EDP.

    7. EDP's goal is to digitize various words and expressions used by humans in a bilingual format. Therefore, please be aware in advance that it may contain bad words, vulgar words, discriminatory words, obscene words, radical expressions, and expressions that are not necessarily appropriate in light of modern social norms. EDP has no intention of actively using or encouraging the use of such expressions.

    8. Users can use this product on their own Android device only if they agree to all of these terms of use. Distribution to third parties in any way is prohibited.

    9. Communication costs for downloading Eijiroid and dictionary data are borne by the customer. Eijiroid assumes no responsibility for communication costs.

    10. Dictionary data can be downloaded from the remote server for 3 years or up to 10 times after purchase. If you require more than this limit, please purchase a dictionary data upgrade.
